I recently leased an I3 and have been enjoying learning about driving an electric car. I choose the vehicle not because of the brand but because of the sustainability concepts emphasised in your marketing. So while it was a nice surprise to receive the thumb drive in the mail (to the address I said I didn't want to receive mail and wasn't my mailing address) I thought it was a bit excessive the way your marketing department sent the item. I think they missed the mark Carbon footprints should be considered is all phases of ownership of the vehicle. Granted it's a small part compared to the whole car, but every bit of waste needs to be cut out for true sustainability. I am asking BMW to walk the talk. Thanks for listening.
I agree with you and try to suppress any paper communications whenever possible. I did notice that most of the packages from BMW are designed with recycling in mind. After a few years, I have a bunch of flash drives from BMW and have passed some on to my nephews and kept one to export a copy of my profile from my i3 so that I can have my settings in any loaner cars too.
