As a prior i3 owner with an existing ChargeNow account since 2014, since recently purchasing a CPO i3 has anyone had experience using their existing account with this new program?

Just curious how ChargeNow knows I have a CPO i3 now? I’m guessing I need to let them know myself to add to my account. Or would I need to use a new account?

From what you've described I think I've experienced a similar "random" charging period which I attribute to a trickle charge session. This doesn't seem too out of the ordinary.

Having heard the compressor come on during this sounds like normal battery cooling system operation possibly due to elevated ambient air temps.

I registered the 2 BMW supplied ChargeNow cards on the ChargePoint network and was told that a $25 registration fee would be charged at my first paid charging session. I have since only used either the DC charging stations or dedicated BMW/ChargePoint Level2 units.

6 months on, I have not been charged the $25 registration fee. So if they charged you $25, you might have charged at a non-BMW station perhaps?

Fortunately for me, in Southern California I've had lots of success in using the eVgo DC Combo charging stations.

The only minor issues I've had is that their back end servers don't seem to communicate and update their app regarding immediate charging status.
